Divergent Fun Facts

Directions: Read through following blog post by the author of Divergent, Veronica Roth. Here she discusses her frustrations with writing (Insurgent more specifically).

In one paragraph, talk about what you learned about writing a novel from her entire blog post. Then, read through the Divergent Fun Facts. In two more paragraphs (5 sentences each), choose two to talk about.

Divergent Fun Facts
1. Tris' mother was patterned after Veronica Roth's mother (author). Thoughts, etc.

2. When taking the aptitude test, you cannot be given the options of Amity and Dauntless. Thoughts, etc.

3. The character of Tobias was created based off of the author's favorite character on Animorphs. Thoughts, etc.

4. Book Three comes out in the Fall. Direction, etc.

5. The movie Divergent comes out in March of 2014. Casting, etc.
